Save Inspirations from TikTok
TikTok is full of creative inspiration. Here's how to save those viral videos and creative ideas to your library.
Step by Step
On Mobile (iOS & Android)
- Open TikTok and find a video you want to save
- Tap the Share arrow on the right side
- Scroll the share options and select Inspire.Me
- Add a note about what inspires you
- Tap Save
Can't Find Inspire.Me?
If you don't see Inspire.Me in the share options:
- Tap More or scroll to the end of share options
- Look for Inspire.Me in the extended list
- You may need to enable it first (see setup guides below)
What Gets Saved
When you save a TikTok, we capture:
- Video thumbnail/cover image
- Creator username and display name
- Video description and hashtags
- Automatic mood and style tagging
Tips for Better Organization
- Describe the technique - "amazing transition at 0:15" is more useful than "cool video"
- Note the vibe - "dreamy pastel aesthetic" helps when searching later
- Capture why - Your note about why this inspires you makes all the difference
Troubleshooting
TikTok asking to copy link instead? Make sure the Inspire.Me app is installed and the share extension is enabled.
Video showing as unavailable? Some TikToks get removed by creators. We save what we can at the time of sharing.
Private or friends-only video? We can only save publicly accessible TikToks.
