Android Share Menu Setup
Set up Inspire.Me in your Android share menu to quickly save inspiration from any app.
Finding Inspire.Me in Share Menu
On Android, Inspire.Me should automatically appear in your share menu after installation. Here's how to use it:
- Open any app (TikTok, YouTube, Chrome, etc.)
- Tap the Share button
- Look for Inspire.Me in the share options
- If you don't see it, tap More to see all available apps
Pinning for Quick Access
Make Inspire.Me easier to find:
On Stock Android / Pixel
- Open the share menu from any app
- Long-press on Inspire.Me
- Select Pin to keep it at the top
On Samsung
- Open the share menu
- Tap the More options (three dots)
- Select Edit
- Move Inspire.Me to your favorites
On Other Android Phones
The process varies by manufacturer, but generally:
- Long-press on the app in the share menu
- Look for "Pin" or "Add to favorites" option
- Or check your phone's Settings > Apps > Default apps
Using the Share Feature
- Find content you want to save (video, image, article)
- Tap Share
- Select Inspire.Me
- Add your note about why this inspires you
- Tap Save
Troubleshooting
Inspire.Me not in share menu?
- Open the Inspire.Me app once to register the share handler
- Restart your phone
- Reinstall the app if needed
Share menu showing "No apps can perform this action"?
This usually means the content type isn't supported. Try sharing from a different app or copying the link manually.
Sharing is slow?
- Make sure you have a stable internet connection
- The app will queue saves for later if offline

- Most apps support sharing - try it from anywhere you find inspiration
- The URL is captured automatically when sharing
- Your notes make all the difference for finding things later
